| Call for Proposals
Round 1 CFP
During our first Call for Proposals, a total of 178 applications were received. In December 2006, 11 sites were selected to evaluate their proposed interventions. These proposals included interventions involving community health workers, electronic health records, health literacy screening and use of culturally tailored DVDs designed to empower patients to become more active in their care.
Round 2 CFP
During our second Call for Proposals, a total of 134 project applications were received. In May 2008, ten sites were selected to evaluate their proposed interventions. These projects included telephone and internet technologies, nurses, community organizations, and provider incentive programs.
Round 3 CFP
During our third Call for Proposals, a total of 111 applications were received. In September 2009, seven sites were selected to evaluate their proposed interventions. These projects included patient incentive programs, at home blood pressure monitoring, telephone-based counseling, and decision support for physicians.
Round 4 CFP
Through our fourth Call for Proposals, Finding Answers seeks to collect implementation, evaluation, and cost data from interventions within multiple contexts. The brief and full proposal stages of the application process are now closed. Finding Answers plans to announce our fourth round of grantees in October 2010.
